VHCS News : VHCS 2.4.7.1 Install-Script for Debian Etch

Hi there,

welcome to the VHCS 2.4.7.1 Install-Script for Debian Etch (4.0).

This is an updated version of Wael Nasreddine's Install-Script from http://wael.nasreddine.com/files/vhcs/, which was made for Debian Sarge (3.1).

The differences to Wael's Install-Script:
- 2 changes in vhcs2-2.4.7.1/engine/vhcs2_common_code.pl
- several changes in vhcs.sh to adjust the new URL to the VHCS-Package and the lines from debian sarge to Debian Etch
- a new VHCS 2.4.7.1 package which INCLUDES THE SECURITY FIX for VHCS 2.4.7.1

Tested on (please report me new tested distributions to: armadillo at penguinfriends dot org):
- Debian Etch (4.0) Mini Installation

hi,
i just updated the vhcs.sh debian install script
on this case VHCS 2.4.7 will run with the latest versions of PHP Apache Postfix Proftpd
the script is avaliable to download on :
http://www.angelservers.eu/vhcs2/vhcs.sh
for a best package you need to configure yourself Proftpd conf file on /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf and webmail inc.php
